Where you actually go
Four stops, and every one of them is the real island.
The trails
Out of the hotel zone and onto the dirt. Rural tracks, open country, and the island as the people who live here know it.
A natural cave
A freshwater cave on the route, cool and clear, and a hundred times better after an hour of dust. Bring a towel.
A Dominican house
Coffee, cacao and local products, explained by the people who make them. You taste, you ask, and you take your time.
Macao Beach
The last stop is the sea. Get in with the mud still on you — everybody does.
