Scope

These terms govern the booking of tours, excursions, transfers and tourist transportation services offered by King Black Tour & Travel, S.R.L. through this website and through our contact channels.

How a booking works

Bookings are requested by WhatsApp or by email. A request is not yet a booking: your booking is confirmed only once King Black Tour & Travel confirms availability, date and pickup time to you in writing.

Prices

Published prices are in US dollars and are per person, unless stated otherwise. Each tour page details what it includes and what it does not. Prices may change; the price that applies is the one confirmed to you in writing at the time of booking.

Payments

This site does not process online payments. The method and timing of payment are agreed when your booking is confirmed. We do not request card details by email, by WhatsApp, or through any form on this site.

Pickup and timing

We confirm your pickup point and time when we confirm the booking. We ask you to be at the agreed place at the agreed time. If a passenger is not at the agreed pickup point and time, the service may be treated as delivered, except as set out in our cancellation policy.

What we ask of you

Passengers agree to follow the instructions of our staff, crew and guides; to wear the life jacket and safety equipment where it applies; to carry their documentation when the activity requires it; and to tell us in advance of anything that may affect their participation.

We reserve the right to decline participation or to end the service for anyone whose conduct puts their own safety or that of others at risk, or who acts against the rules that apply on board or during the activity. In those cases no refund applies.

Alcohol and open-bar activities

On activities that include an open bar, alcohol is served to adults only and is served responsibly. The crew may stop serving drinks to any passenger for safety reasons.

Weather and sea conditions

Safety comes before every other consideration. If weather, sea conditions or any event beyond our control keep us from running the activity safely, we may adjust the itinerary, move the departure to another time, or cancel it. In those cases our cancellation policy applies.

Liability

We deliver our services with the care expected of a professional tour operator. We are not liable for harm arising from a passenger not following safety instructions, from health conditions that were not disclosed to us beforehand, or from loss of or damage to personal belongings a passenger carries during the activity.

Photography and video

We take photographs and video during some activities, for our own records and for promotion. If you prefer not to appear in that material, tell our staff before the activity begins and we will respect it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of La Altagracia province, without prejudice to the rights available to consumers before Pro Consumidor.
